Lillian Brocklehurst Memorial Scholarship Fund

Available: Two $500, 2 year, scholarships (based on funding availability)

Grade Incentive: An additional $300 per semester will be awarded to the scholarship recipient who maintains a “B” or higher average.

Eligibility: The applicant must be actively involved with OnFire Youth Ministries and under 22 years of age at the time of application. Students also must be planning to attend college full time.

Payment: Scholarship will be paid in full directly to the educational institution at at the start of the student’s second or subsequent semester. Student must submit transcript from prior semester to verify successful completion of course work.

Process: Interested applicants must complete an application form and a one-page essay (typed and double-spaced) using the essay prompt: What has OnFire meant to me and my community?

The top three essays will be selected, and those applicants will interview with a selection committee.

The decisions of the selection committee will be final.

Committee: The selection committee will consist of one OnFire Board Member, one OnFire volunteer or paid staff member, and one community member.
